I'm confused by the answer to the previous question....If I attach a V-Mount battery to this plate, will it provide power to the Gimbal via the pins on the tilta advanced ring?

Yes, if you attach a V-mount battery to this plate, it will provide power to the gimbal via the pins on the Tilta Advanced Ring. The pins are not connected to the side handle controls and so 18650 batteries are needed.

If you have this battery plate attached, with a suitable vlock battery, can you remove the top handle (incl battery) completely?

If the Tilta Battery Plate for DJI RS 2/RS 3/RS 3 Pro Ring Grip (V-Mount) is installed on the Tilta Advanced Ring Grip for DJI RS 4, RS 4 Pro, RS 3 Pro, and RS 2 Gimbals with a powered V-Mount battery, the DJI battery can be removed. The top battery handle adapter is not designed to be removed from the ring.

Yes, you can install two of the Tilta Battery Plates for DJI RS 2/RS 3/RS 3 Pro Ring Grip (V-Mount) in order to hot swap on the Tilta Pro Ring Grip. The system will regulate the power.

Yes, the Tilta Battery Plate for DJI RS 2 Ring Grip will provide power to the ring while the BG30 Grip will also provide power. There is no risk of a short circuit.

Does the BG30 Grip sums its Wh capacity with a V-Mount battery capacity when using this battery plate? For example, 30Wh of BG30 Grip + 144Wh of V-Mount battery = 174Wh

Yes, when feeding power from a V-mount battery on the Tilta Battery Plate for DJI RS 2 Ring Grip (V-Mount) to a DJI Ronin BG30 Grip the duration of the power would be equal to that of the battery grip and the V-mount battery added together, assuming the BG30 is fully charged.
