SanDisk 128GB UHS-II SDXC Overview

Achieve maximum performance for a faster workflow and burst shooting with the 128GB Extreme PRO UHS-II SDXC Memory Card from SanDisk, which lets users capture flawless cinema-quality 8K, 4K, and Full HD video, as well as raw photos and continuous shutter bursts. This card features a storage capacity of 128GB and takes advantage of the UHS-II bus to support read speeds of up to 300 MB/s and write speeds of up to 260 MB/s. Thanks to the V90 Video Speed Class rating, write speeds are guaranteed not to drop below 90 MB/s.

UHS-II media achieves its speed through an extra row of pins and, while this card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-II / V90 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-II / V90. However, bear in mind that this card will then default to your device's speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-II and V60, which supports minimum write speeds of 60 MB/s, UHS-II and V30, which supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s, or UHS-I and U3, which also supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support U3, this card is compatible with the U1 and Class 10 standards, each of which guarantees minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s.

Built for extreme conditions, SanDisk's 128GB Extreme PRO UHS-II SDXC Memory Card is protected against shock, temperatures, x-rays, and water. Also featured is a built-in write-protect switch that helps to safeguard your content from being erased.

The Extreme PRO is protected by a limited lifetime warranty. Also available is a free download of RescuePRO Deluxe software, which is valid for two years.

SanDisk 128GB UHS-II SDXC Reviews

I have 2 FF bodies, 1 high megabixel and the other fast autofocus and high frame rate. I upgraded my previous SanDisk cards to the 300mb ver prompted by a 3 pack deal with B&H. After making the purchase B&H packed it well and shipped them fast. The Extreme Pro cards work well and deliver as expected.

SanDisk never disappoints. This card is fast and I have not had any issues with it on several shoots.

Keeps up with my high speed shooting as my second card in my A7 iV, so I can do full bust at 10fps with no buffer with this and a cf express type A card. Expensive yes, however I have had other UHS-II cards that DO NOT keep the speed up like they say. SanDisk for all the years has not let me down here. Cards are something I worry about cheaping out on, with all the issues I have had loosing gopro footage in the past, its just not worth it.

lI do not know how these work, I can not get a camera from B&H. Canon R7 is not being sold as body only. I do not need new lenses. I need the new camera first

I have been buying SanDisk memory cards for the last 40+ years. When I purchase my R7 and R5 bodies they were my memory of first choice.

Works as intended and keeps up with my A7R III for a bit over 8 seconds at 10fps (Hi+) RAW + JPG! Unloading them takes a bit over 30 seconds.

I chose.B&H when I needed to replace the memory card I'd been using for almost 10 years because I knew it would be an easy and efficient online purchase. Two days later the new card arrived and I was back in business.

There are two variants of Sandisk UHS-II SDXC card. One without V90 printed on the card and one with V90 printed on the card. The variant with V90 printed/certified supports 8K video recording according to official Sandisk product page. Sandisk official website/product page sells both variants but you have to pay attention to tell the differences.

Will this work on older Blackmagic Micro Cinema Cameras? Those cameras seem to be very picky about what cards are used in them. Any other cards like this I could use on an older BMMCC?
Asked by: Landon
It appears that users of the older BMMCC have success with brands other than SanDisk. Lexar, Anglebird, and Kingston. We suggest trying those products.
