The Datavideo ProRes UHD 4K Video Recorder can work with standard 2.5" SSD internal drives. The Datavideo recorder includes two empty Removable 2.5" SSD Enclosures with your purchase. If you are recording 4 inputs of video, do you have the option to turn off any inputs that are not in use to save drive space?
Asked by: John
The Datavideo ProRes UHD 4K Video Recorder (1 RU Rackmount Model) has 3 different input sets that can be set to record. One could select a set that has disconnected inputs to record less inputs, but the recorder will still record from inputs 1,2,3 and 4. The difference will be whether input 1 or 2 are HDMI or SDI.
