SANDISK PRO-READER CFast Reviews
Dependable
I’ve been using Lexar CF and SD card FireWire readers with both Sandisk and Lexar storage for over twenty years without issues. I recently switched to Prograde CFexpress Type B cards and found this reader just as reliable. Overheating is not an issue with this reader.

Ok, so here it goes: W11 system, at times, mostly when trying to copy many files at once; the USB-C port would lose the SanDisk Cfast reader ! error message was drive not found ! So unplugged and re-pluged C-USB type cable back in and PC found again the SanDisk Cfast reader. It helped to just copy a few files at a time rather than a whole bunch of files. I'm sure problem is PC machine related as the CFast drive eventually is always again found by PC; just adds a bit of scary to process as files, if lost, would be about 2k$ cash lost ! Remember, there is no driver, and no manual. No safe-to-eject feature as well. It's plug and play and cross your fingers.
