Works as advertised. Remember to buy a chime if you wish to hear this indoors. Other than that it will only be heard on your phone. Excellent product support.

I had thought about buying one for a long time but due to my location I cannot get a clear view no fault of the Ring doorbell so glad I got it as I can see my entire Cove and I feel more secure

Smaller than the wireless versions but with the same capabilities. A little older so doesn't have the crisp picture during night hours but you get what you pay for. Easy 10 minute installation and another 10 minutes to set up the app and account. 30 day trial subscription included but a subscription required after that to maintain same capabilities. Still worth the small price to be able to access old video history.

Only had this for about 2 weeks as yet however really happy with this purchase. Bought this item at a great price from B&H & delivery was a lot quicker than date given at checkout. On receipt, it took less than 30 mins to install/set up. Camera seems solid/robust quality. Configuration of motion and camera alerts etc is very easy via the app/website. The camera gives very clear day time AND night time pictures. Sound quality is also very good - tested both from within the house and Configuration of alerts etc is very easy via the app/website. from 250miles away!! As yet, I have not signed up for the Ring Protection Plan - will revisit this since I am seriously considering also now buying the Ring Alarm system. In summary, great product & great user experience.

There are no fees to use a RING device. But there are paid subscriptions for storqge and retrieval: Ring Protect Plan is an optional subscription service that allows video recordings from your Ring devices to be saved in your Ring account. Without Ring Protect Plan, you can do Live View on your doorbells and cameras and answer doorbell notifications when they happen, but you do not get video recordings of those events. You can subscribe to the Ring Protect Basic Plan or Ring Protect Plus Plan on a monthly or yearly basis. Ring Protect Basic covers devices individually. Ring Protect Plus Plan covers all devices at the same location. The Ring Protect Plus Plan also has some additional benefits that you can see in the comparison chart below. In addition, the Ring Protect Plus Plan allows you to have 24/7 monitoring if you have a Ring Alarm system. Note: Ring Alarm is available in select countries. The professional monitoring service is available only within the U.S. (all 50 states, excluding American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Islands, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands) and Canada. You are able to connect the Ring wired doorbell to your existing indoor home chime. That is also how the Ring doorbell gets power.
