This Aputure LS 600x Pro Bi-Color LED Monolight is a powerful LED fixture with color and power options, as well as high output augmented by its included 55° Hyper Reflector or an optional Fresnel attachment. The precision fixture has an expansive variable color temperature range from 2700 to 6500K with a high CRI/TLCI rating of 96 and 98 - your assurance of precise color reproduction. Besides power, control is a driving force in the design of the 600x Pro. Adjustments can be made locally on the fixture or wirelessly from a distance via the included 2.4 GHz wireless remote, the Sidus Link mobile app, and the built-in wireless DMX control - useful for when your light is mounted overhead or in a hard to reach place. The LS 600x Pro also has four dimming curves: Linear, Exponential, Log, and S-Curve, to ensure accuracy regardless of your chosen brightness level.

The light is ready for worldwide use via its multi-voltage power supply but can also be powered by a 48V battery or two 14.4V, 26V, or 28.8V batteries when AC power is unavailable. You can mount the batteries and recharge them while you are using the light.

This Aputure LS 600x Pro Bi-Color LED Monolight is a powerful LED fixture with color and power options, as well as high output augmented by its included 55° Hyper Reflector or an optional Fresnel attachment. No better right for the $$$. Perfect for key light if your lighting a large space. You need rags or frames. Lights just bright to use it as is,

What a great light! It's bright, bi-color, and amazingly built. The only frustration I have is in seeing that Aputure just came out with a 600D (non-"pro" version), and I'm guessing they will do the same with the 600x soon. As far as I can tell, there isn't a lot that's different with the 600D and 600D pro (perhaps advanced DMX and Mesh controls), so I wish I would have waited another few months to save some money and weight on the potential non-pro version of the 600X. I love that Aputure is releasing so many great lights, but it's not great to have you customer base instantly regret a purchase because a cheeper version is released so soon after a purchase. But, I digress. If you need all the "pro" bells and whistles, this is the light for you!

Not much else competes at this rice level. From the power to the build quality to the bi-color this light makes so much possible. Can't wait until they come out with a 1200x!

Menu went blank on a shoot

I purchased this in october 2022. Unboxed just to test. My shoot wasn't until January 2023, as soon as i opened it up, the Menu screen flickered and went black and menu has not worked since. Had to use Sidus link to get me through the shoot day. Contacted Aputure Customer service, 5 days later still waiting to hear back from them. Hoping they resolve this issue. Will update if I hear back from them with some answers.

A Lot of Punch for the Price

We purchased some of these lights for outdoor sets and live shots. The power is surprisingly good, and when combined with the fresnels lens you'll be really amazed. The Bowen style rings are awesome, and you can make use of your older style Chimera softboxes and lanterns. We have used the 600D, and adding the 600X is a good choice. The one down side is that Aputure needs to put the power input connection on the top or side instead of the bottom. By no means a deal breaker, but you can tell the engineers never used it in the field.

Is the bi-color just as bright as the daylight version?

No, the previous answer is incorrect. From Apurtures photometrics on their website, the 600D Pro (the daylight version), with the hyper reflector thats included with the light, produces 89,200 lux at 1 meter. From the same distance and hyper reflector, the 600x Pro produces 63,800 lux at 5600K and 45,300 lux at 3200. So the 600d Pro is 1 stop brighter than the 600x Pro at 3200K and 2/3 stop brighter than the 600x Pro at 5600K

In loose terms its 5:1 ratio so 720w LED is about a 3.5k tungsten of similar type.

The Aputure LS 600x Pro Lamp Head (V-Mount) comes with a control box which is the AC power you plug that into the light and to the AC outlet on the wall. And it comes with a case.
