Auray RSSM-CAM45 Overview

Wrap the Auray Rubber Spacer Sleeve around your XLR shotgun microphone to ensure that it fits snugly into your camcorder's mic holder. This spacer sleeve fits around any shotgun mic and increases the microphone's diameter to fit camcorders with large mic holders like the Canon XA40 and others.

The soft rubber construction grips your microphone, prevents it from slipping in the holder, and protects the mic's finish from scratches. The sleeve is 1.75" in length, which is short enough to avoid covering the microphone ports.

The built in rubber mic holder came apart, allowing the shotgun to wobble greatly. This solved the problem, well worth the money. Highly recommend.

This is ok. I really feel that I needed 2 or 3 to do the job well. IT's flimsy and hceap but hey it's not that expensive. Next time Ill go another rout. Not real impressed with this.

The Auray Rubber Spacer Sleeve for XLR Shotgun Microphones on Camcorders, will fit the Deity Microphones S-Mic 2S Moisture-Resistant Short Shotgun Microphone, the spacer is short enough not to cover the capsule area of the microphone.

Is this required to put an AT875R on the Sony FX6?

The Audio-Technica AT875R Short Shotgun Microphone comes with two rubber O-rings to help the mic fit securely in a camera's mic holder. You may need to use the O-rings with the Sony FX6 Cinema Camera. The Auray Rubber Spacer Sleeve for XLR Shotgun Microphones is just another option and works in the same manner, but it's larger and may be easier to keep in place. Both are used for the same purpose. We also sell the O-rings separately - Sanken ROCS Rubber O-Rings for CS-1 - 10-pack (B&H # SAROCS).
