Sony HVL-F46RM Reviews
Good Flash
This is a good flash. I wish it had a little more power. So far it has worked flawlessly and is very durable.
Compact and reliable
Small size with plenty of power. Exceptional TTL exposure with A1
Worth every dollar

Flash with best performance
This is a new flash the best on the range, with very high performance.

ok good
Buyer beware
This new and unimproved version has a feature removed that's a deal breaker for me and if you're familiar with it it may be a deal breaker for you as well. Sony In there infinite unwisdom decided to remove the quick shift bounce function and if you're not familiar with that, it allows you to take images with the flash on the camera in portrait/vertical mode without getting those harsh shadows that every other make of speedlights have and that includes the high end Profoto so needless to say I'm returning this disappointment pronto. Oh and one more thing, the display is cut in half from the previous two versions so it's very small.
