I ordered this thinking its soft composition would result in being more comfortable when being used around my neck than the standard Leica strap is. While is is beautiful craftsmanship, is great over my shoulder and coils quite nicely without any kinking, after 2 outings I found my thought process was off. If anything the rounded profile of it actually seems to direct the pressure point to a very narrow area on my skinny old neck more so than the weight being spread out over the width of the leather strap. Never stop learning! I've gone back to the original strap for now and have set up a return with the folks at B&H......whose service for over 20 years has never disappointed me!

Does this come with the leather bumper pads that sit between the o-rings and the camera body to prevent scratches?
The Leica 50" Rope Strap (Black) does not come with leather bumper pads.
