Taking advantage of the 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 4 bandwidth, this docking station allows you connect either one 7680 x 4320 resolution 8K monitor or up to four 4K 3840 x 2160 resolution displays through its HDMI 1.4, Thunderbolt 4, and two DisplayPort 1.4 ports to significantly enhance your multitasking efficiency. The Thunderbolt 4 connector also supports up to 100W power delivery There are also four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports and a Type-C port that can transfer up to 10 Gb/s with compatible devices. Other convenient features include a Gigabit Ethernet port for high-speed network connections and a 3.5mm audio jack.

This dock will work with an M1 macbook pro if you install DisplayLink Manager. One display will have to go through Displayport and the other through HDMI. I have this exact setup currently.

WIll this allow me to have a single cord connection via the USB-C that will charge my L14 Gen 2 thinkpad? Will it power up the laptop with the power button I see pictured, or will I have to open the laptop? I want to connect 2 external monitors and don't really need to laptop screen opened.

The Lenovo ThinkPad Universal Thunderbolt 4 Dock would connect to your computer if your computer has a USB-C port. If your computer can be charged via that port, the dock will also charge your computer. The power button on the dock will not power up your computer.
