Pyle Pro PDWMU112 Overview

The Pyle Pro PDWMU112 is a wireless UHF microphone system that includes both a headset microphone and a lavalier microphone, allowing the user to choose the most appropriate mic for the application and plug it into the included bodypack transmitter. The system features a plug-in receiver and is ready for a wide variety of applications including performances, conferences, meetings, lectures, and presentations, allowing talent to roam freely without being encumbered by wires at a distance up to 160' away from the receiver

Connect the receiver to a compatible speaker or device using its 1/4" TS plug connector. The components are paired at the factory and will automatically sync together on the same UHF frequency to create a wireless operating channel, making the system very easy to use. The transmitter is powered by AA batteries while the receiver is powered from its USB port using the included cable.

Can't Use Multiple Mics - Pathetic Customer Service

These microphone packs do not work together, but compete for the non-programmable receiver. It would work as a stand-alone microphone, but not with more than one. You can set the frequency on a mic, but when you turn it on, every receiver senses that frequency and tunes into it. So when you have two mics, the receivers both tune to the frequency of the closest microphone, eliminating reception from the remaining microphone. If they manage to maintain the desired frequency, even if you choose frequencies that are not adjacent to one another, the microphones interfere with one another, creating a whine and a distortion. Then the receiver jumps to the stronger frequency and you're back to only one mic working. Reaching out to PyleUSA was difficult. I had to explain the problem to an answering service who passed it on to the product specialist. He wrote me an email, insisting that I was wrong. Then he ignored two replies from me. B&H handled the return VERY WELL.

Excellent sound quality with no feedback when operating in front of the speakers. Only concern is with replacement availability of the large battery. I don't understand why they had to use a special size. I would recommend this microphone.
