DJI RS 3 Pro Reviews
Works great, but demands you register
I've rented these in the past before and had no issues. I finally bought one and on the first show I used it on, it randomly decided to stop working until I made a DJI account and activated it. I already bought it, why does DJI need my personal info? What would have happened if I didn't have cell reception? Absolutely unacceptable behavior from a pro product
Worth the price
If you are looking for a gimbal, then invest in this combo. its not much more than just the unit. The only downside is that none of them come with a power cord so you will need to use your own to charge. Kinda annoying for the price point but really that's my only complaint.
MUCH BETTER THAN THE RS2
I held off for quite a bit because I said to myself how much better could this version be? Well DJI said hold my beer, because WOW! When balanced properly, cameras fly with ease on this thing.
DJI Finally Thought About AKS!
This gimbal is what I have been waiting for. An easy system that fits into a larger production seamlessly. They finally thought through accessories and making a GImbal that just works without freaking out (which it still does sometimes, but that's to be expected with electronic motors). You still need a few aftermarket pieces. And why oh why does the DJI Focus Wheel not come in this Pro kit (sold seperately - the motor comes but not the wheel to control it). Anyway, it's great! Buy this!
Minor Defect, still love it!
The Long arm engages early, not letting itself complete the full motion, But other than that I have no issues. Everything else works great, the movement, the feel. Definitely a great buy!
DJI's Latest Gimbal is a Winner
I've owned each of the 3 generations of pro-level gimbal from DJI and the RS3, with the auto-lock feature and the hardware-switchable mode select (PF/PTF/FPV), has improved usage considerably. It is much faster in run and gun mode and while switching locations. Also thankful that attachments and accessories from my RS2 work on the RS3. Solid upgrade.
Definitely worth worth every cent
I heard that Gimbals were a pain to deal with, but this one takes all the struggle out of the equation.
Solid
Not a very hard shift learning this coming from a Ronin-M. Only complaint is the horizon isn't perfect on many shots. I'll have to read up on how to shift the setting cuz all I see is stiffness. No degrees yet. Wish that was an easier option to find in the menu.
