BOOM lets you create your complete podcast and streaming production environment with the onboard mixer and Loopback mode. Connecting Your Studio
  • Connect microphones, guitars, keyboards, line-level audio devices to the front-panel IN1 XLR-1/4" combo jack. (when using condenser mics, be sure to engage 48V phantom power).
  • Connect guitars, synthesizers, and line-level audio devices to the IN2 1/4" jack.
  • On the BOOM back panel, connect your studio monitors to the left and right 1/4" SP (speaker) outputs.
  • Connect headphones to the 1/4" HP (headphone) output.
  • Front-panel meters enable you to visualize the current input- or output-level setting.

  • The included Apogee Control 2 software provides access to all settings including System setup, direct-monitor mixing, hardware DSP, and monitor controller functionality.

The built in hardware dsp actually works and helps you get a better sound recording raw vocals. So now when you start your mix it’s easier because your raw vocals will stand out more before you start mixing

Yes. The Apogee Electronics BOOM 2x2 Desktop USB Type-C Audio Interface has two channels of input and two channels of output. Two separate channels of audio can be recorded at the same time.
