Ordering, processing and shipping/delivery very quick. Like the feel of the camera, only used it once. Need to get use to the various options in taking and deleting pictures. Have had Minolta before and been satisfied.

what is the spare battery part number, and where can i get it?

Do NOT try the NP40 battery; it does NOT fit. Statement by Yaakov is not accurate. So far I have not found the correct battery replacement/spare. It is most inconvenient to go around without spare batteries. You have to charge the battery by opening the battery bay, thus can't use the camera during that time.
