This Sennheiser SL Bodypack - MKE 40 KIT DW-4 combines a compact and robust Speechline SL Bodypack DW digital wireless transmitter with a black, MKE 40 cardioid lavalier microphone for clear and intelligible speech and lecture applications. A BA 30 rechargeable battery pack is also included.
The SpeechLine Digital Wireless SL Bodypack DW-4-US from Sennheiser is an SL Series wireless transmitter optimized for speech. It can be used when paired with an optional wireless receiver and microphone in applications for meetings, lectures, conferences presentations where every word matters. In addition, it is compatible with all Sennheiser microphones such as the SL Headmic 1 or MKE 1 (sold separately).
Featuring bi-directional communication between transmitter and receiver, the automatic frequency and interference management allows for convenient and reliable operation, which means the SL bodypack requires no settings to be adjusted. The LC display provides the link name, battery status and reception quality, and the easy-to-access mute-slider makes the use of the microphone very convenient.
Furthermore, the SL bodypack comes with a rechargeable BA 30 accupack that is built with external charging contacts – for easy charging with the CHG 2 and a USB socket. It provides up to 15 hours of operating time on a full charge. Finally, Sennheiser Control Cockpit software (download) offers easy handling, control, and maintenance for the SpeechLine Digital Wireless System. It provides a global overview of all network-enabled devices, shows all status information, and makes setting adjustments very easy.
The Sennheiser MKE 40 is a condenser lavalier microphone compatible with SK 100, SK 300, and SK 500 Evolution Wireless Series bodypack transmitters. Featuring a cardioid polar pattern that helps keep unwanted sound from coming through the mic, and high gain-before-feedback, it is well suited to capture speech on stage, or in any live sound applications.
The MKE 40 delivers a 40 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response and handles sound pressure levels up to 118 dB. It can be used for close-miking both voices and instruments to capture a direct sound with accurate bass reproduction.
The microphone ships with two windshields (black & gray), a clip (black), and the MZM 2 / MZM 10 magnetic mount set.
