SmallRig Full Camera Cage for Select Sony Cam... Reviews

Good update to previous versions

Doesn't fit the A1 perfectly but it's good enough for what I needed. I much prefer this version over the first iteration for the A7SIII. They've made some improvements to the ergonomics and functionality that are great. 1- the new cage is now flush with the camera's hand grip which feels much nicer in the hand. 2 - the addition of the arca plate is awesome for hot swapping between my different rigs. 3 - the 2-in-1 allen wrench/flathead tool that is hidden in the base has a better design now so you can access it without having to remove whatever tripod plate you have attached. Overall great updated.

Missing Instructions

So, I had no clue how to set it up. I found this, which was very good. However, the guy doing the instruction didn't know how to keep the unit in frame. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5pHD8_dqWKg It was missing even the allen wrench, which is shown in the video. in the video. I don't know if it was an open box and missing parts or not. My order was cage only.
