TP-Link Archer AX80 Reviews
Powerful but watch where you put it!
True to form, I located this router in a place shrouded by some wood cabinetry. This was a mistake. While the signal remained good I had no idea how much better it would be unfettered by obstructions. That said, you really have to not mind it's appearance. One wonders if all the antennae really serve a purpose. For example, if I angle them around sufficiently so as to create a larger coverage area... well, ok, it doesn't seem to make a difference. Perhaps at 2.4ghz it might but I noticed that standing upright works well for signals both below and above the plane of the router, if that makes sense. Anyways, seems fine. Make sure to update your firmware religiously.
Outstanding
This was an upgrade from a TP-Link router that was about ten years old, and is well worth the cost. It sends a much stronger signal throughout our 2400 square foot home. Setup was a breeze, changed the password easily, and could not ask for more.
