Designed to enhance and extend the power of A-Series strobes, the Clic Magnum Reflector from Profoto narrows the light's beam angle to provide up to 1.8 stops of additional output with a smooth and even falloff. The magnetic mount makes for quick, efficient assembly while an included 20° grid narrows the beam even further. The Clic Magnum comes with its own protective case.

In my tests using the A1x, this Magnum Reflector adds about two thirds of a stop to the maximum output. The magnets are super strong, this reflector requires a lot of force to get it off - it will not fall off! It does add some weight to the front of the flash head. OK if you are shooting with the head at 90 degrees, otherwise it takes some finagling to go with a different vertical angle - better with the A10 with the tighter angle adjustments. On an A2 it might provide the rated output, but the A1x and A10 have the ability to focus the flash output so less impactful. Still useful to have a little more specular output - especially outdoors. Very compact in the case. I can't account for any difference with the grid - I don't use it.
Love the magnetic fixture, huge bonus!! This helps put out a lot of light and I use it with my A series profoto light. It's like having the light super magnified!
