The Leica Lens Hood for 35mm f/1.4 Summilux-M Lens (B&H# LELH3514SM) will also fit the classic Leica Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 Aspherical (often called "double aspherical" due to its dual aspherical elements), as both 35mm focal length lenses have a 46mm filter thread.

The BH #LELH3514SM, Leica #12486 hood is a screw on hood designed for the 11301 "Steel Rim" re-issue lens. This hood along with the vintage style hood are also included with the purchase of the lens. There is also a snap on version as well. B&H # LECOLH3514SM, Leica # 12487. Both will not vignette your images.
