Brother QL-1110NWBC Overview

The Brother QL-1110NWBC Wide Format Professional Label Printer with Ethernet and Bluetooth allows you to print black labels using Brother's DK pre-sized, easy-peel labels for packages, envelopes, file folders, name badges, postage, and more. It can print up to 69 standard address labels per minute, with black text at 300 dpi. An auto cutter allows for printing one or multiple labels at a time, eliminating wasted label sheets. Additionally, the QL-1110NWBC prints via USB, Ethernet, or Bluetooth.

The Plug & Label feature supports quick label printing of basic labels, which does not require software installation for Windows computers. The P-touch Editor software for Windows and Mac lets you customize your labels. You can also print from Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. When using genuine Brother DK drop-in rolls, you do not need ink or toner.

Create and print labels from your mobile device when connected to a wireless network via AirPrint or the Brother iPrint&Label app. Using the free Brother iPrint&Label app with your Apple iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, or Android smartphones, you can quickly access and print label templates.

Please note that you will need to use a software app to print via USB.

Please note this printer does not support Windows 8/ 7/ Server 2008 R2/ Server 2008/ macOS 10.14 - OS X 10.11.

Fine Printer but the Wireless Conflicts Kill the Experience

The hardware is what you would expect from a Brother printer but the connectivity conflict between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is ridiculous and the software (Windows) is worthless. The firmware initializes both Wi-Fi and Bluetooth in sequence so if the Wi-Fi connectivity gets stuck, the Bluetooth discovery mode doesn't happen. It might not crop up if you use the label printer in one Wi-Fi environment but it can pop up if you move it to a location with a different Wi-Fi network, which happened to me. I was able to unlock the Bluetooth by going back to my original Wi-Fi location but this is really shoddy firmware design. The user software for Windows looks like something from Windows 95 and it's worthless for troubleshooting. It should be okay if you connect wirelessly in the same location and keep it there but if you plan to use it at different locations with a different Wi-Fi network, then I would recommend saving money (and wasted time addressing these wireless connectivity issues) by going with the USB-only version.

Excellent Label Printer, Auto label size and cartridge loading are a real plus. Soft Cut between labels and a catch tray with be excellent additions

Can you print on a labels or does it need to be brother labels specifically?

We could only guarantee the best results when using original Brother media with the Brother QL-1110NWBC Wide Format Professional Label Printer with Ethernet and Bluetooth, B&H # BRQL1110NWBC; while it isn't locked from using third-party media, we could not guarantee it would work and do not recommend it.

The Brother QLL1100NWBc includes 1 DK-1247 Die-cut Large Shipping Labels (41 labels), plus 1 DK-2205 2.4" (62mm) Continuous Length Black on White Paper Tape 26.2 ft. (8m).
