Marshall Electronics CV504 Overview

The Marshall CV504 Full HD Micro POV Camera is designed with professionals in mind, and it delivers crisp video to fit the individual needs of productions large and small. The camera is built around a next-generation Sony 1/2.8" 2.2MP CMOS sensor capable of recording images at up to 60 fps in low-light situations with rich color accuracy via 3G-SDI output. Marshall's M12 interchangeable lens system offers a variety of focal lengths for both prime and variable options. Included is an M12 4mm prime lens with an 85° horizontal viewing angle.

Adapting to different environments and their requirements is easy with the camera's highly customizable settings, which may be adjusted with an optional Marshall controller, Camera Control software, or another third-party system (available separately). Infrared wavelengths are captured in Night Mode, sustaining the high definition of the CV504 in near-complete darkness. These high-fidelity features are protected by a durable aluminum alloy housing that is both compact and lightweight.

New Sony 1/2.8" Image Sensor
The next-generation Sony sensors provide clear HD images with rich accurate 10-bit (4:2:2) color, even in low-light (0.01 lux), and ability to switch to night mode (0.005 lux) where IR wavelengths can be captured in complete darkness.
Interchangeable M12 Lenses
Marshall CV504 cameras come with a high-quality 4.0mm (85° H.AOV) prime lens, which ensures focus from near contact to infinity. Marshall offers a wide selection of high-quality M12 prime and varifocal lenses to meet the individual needs of the production, project, or application.
Durable, Flexible, Powerful
The durable CV504 body is chiseled from one block of aluminum alloy with rear-panel connector protection. CV504 operates with exceptional low-light sensitivity, ensuring a clear picture in challenging lighting conditions with refined remote adjust and match capability.

This POV camera has great picture quality. Small and compact and can. be hidden from an audience perspective without having to sacrifice what is in the image.

What About Focus?

What About Focus?
Asked by: Robin
The Marshall CV504 cameras come with a high-quality 4.0mm (85° H.AOV) prime lens, which ensures focus from near contact to infinity. Marshall offers a wide selection of high-quality M12 prime and varifocal lenses to meet the individual needs of the production, project, or application. The camera does not support Autofocus. The miniature (M12) lens that comes installed on camera is set to optimal focus position, however if lens is slightly out of focus rotate lens clockwise or counter-clockwise slightly to fine tune. Once the desired focus point is achieved, rotate the locking nut back towards the camera which will hold the lens position at optimal focus point.
