The Falcon2 40W Laser Engraver & Cutter from Creality is a laser engraving machine that is made from aluminum alloy. It can carve colored patterns on mirrors, stainless steel, ceramics, and opaque glass. The engraver has an output power of up to 40W and a machine power of 240W. The unit is efficient with its cutting capabilities and can cut 20mm thick cork and 0.15mm thick stainless steel sheet with just one pass. The engraving machine is equipped with five different safety features. They include a flame detector, bidirectional limit switch, safety lock, emergency stop button, and a laser detection cover all to minimize accidental operation and ensure safety and reliability. This laser engraver supports offline creation. You can simply insert a TF card and freely create it anytime, allowing you to accurately locate and adjust without connecting to a computer.

Silicone pads can be fine-tuned manually to suit uneven tables and offers 360° nonslip operation.
Integrated sliding rail keeps the device running and synchronized, while the U-shaped wear-resistance makes motion more stable.
The full aluminum alloy design ensures stability even in high-speed operation.
Simply insert a TF card and you can create anywhere, anytime.
The device offers a security lock design.
The machine will stop in case of an accidental tilt, flip, or drop and a buzzer will sound.
The Falcon laser engraving machine has an output power of up to 40W and a machine power of 240W. It can cut 20mm thick cork and 0.15mm thick stainless steel with one pass. It can directly carve colored patterns on mirrors, stainless steel, ceramics, and opaque glass.
When the stainless steel is heated by the laser beam, the metal surface will physically react and produce hundreds of colors, bringing your work to life.
If the laser head hits the boundary, the machine will stop automatically and a buzzer will sound an alarm.
Made of high-colored filter glass material, the protective cover around the laser head will effectively prevent the laser from dazzling the eyes.
If an emergency occurs during operation, you can manually stop the machine immediately.
When a flame is detected, the indicator will flash red with an alarm and the machine will stop immediately.
Built-in lens monitoring system will trigger an alarm when the lens is dirty enough, which helps avoid lens breakage and frequent replacement.
It enables you to adjust the airflow based on your engraving needs.
The engraver offers small gadgets to help you complete efficient focusing in 3 seconds.
Position and adjust precisely without connecting to a computer.
Compatible with a variety of systems, including Windows and macOS systems, and software such as LaserGRBL and LightBurn.

Hardware is very good , software setup instructions poor

The instructions for setting up the system with a computer are hard to follow. Had to do a lot of outside research and still have some problems. As compared to the X-tool Laser engraver I have, I was able to used it right after assembly with no problem.

A very capable diode laser at a great price!

I had been using a 10W diode laser for a few months, and was impressed, but I wanted something bigger, so I bought this. I would have preferred CO2 but did not have the room for one. This laser is the answer - it only weighs 15 pounds or so, compared to HUNDREDS of pounds for an equivalent CO2. I make a lot of signs, both in 1/8 plywood and plastic, and this laser does a magnificent job on both. It has plenty of power for many materials. I use Lightburn with this, and it has lots of flexibility. While Lightburn costs an extra $60, I highly recommend it, especially since it works with a multitude of different lasers, including a lot of CO2 and diode.

Yes, the Creality Falcon2 40W Laser Engraver & Cutter can decrease the wattage to 22 watts for precision engraving. It is a new cutter that was never used before.
