Extremely bummed to find myself having the same exact issues as a previous reviewer on here. I was hoping theirs was a fluke. Unfortunately, upon receiving my set, several reflectors were damaged and had warped areas opposite of the rear slide mount, affecting the quality of reflections. Will likely return and fork over the extra cost for the next gen CRLS system. Buy once cry once. I don't have high hopes for good customer service either. Some knock offs are apparently too good to be true.
The reflectors arrived with visible dents, which affect their function, resale value, and professional use. So much for meticulously crafted with exceptional reflectance and precise control. A dented reflector, by definition, does not meet these standards. The flight case had a broken wheel that makes it uncomfortable to transport. B&H’s support was unhelpful. They initially offered $75 as compensation—nowhere near enough to cover the $350+ cost of replacing the damaged reflectors. After multiple emails, they only raised it to $125, which is still unacceptable for a $1,245 kit. Their only alternative was a full return, but they refused to refund the shipping and taxes I already paid, nor to guarantee I wouldn't have to pay more for the replacement. If you're an international buyer, be extremely careful. You might end up with damaged gear and no fair solution. This has been one of my worst experiences with a supposedly reputable retailer. Damage more visible in videos, but see photos of dents and uneven reflections.
