worked perfectly, jsut know this is a locking EF mount and not a regular EF, it is more suited for cameras like the Canon C70 and fits a rigged camera where twist mounting a lense isnt practical

Great Filter Adapter for Cinema

I did a lot of research as to what I should get adapter/lens wise for my R5c. This adapter turned out to be the perfect one! I can use great existing EF cinema lenses with my R5c, while also making up for the fact that the R5c has no internal ND with the drop in VND included with the adapter. I also love the PL mount style locking ring (I've never seen one like this in EF before!!), as it makes it quick and easy to swap lenses, and it ensures an absolutely solid connection. It can take some getting used to, particularly for those used to photography style mounts. But it's definitely a solidly built, high quality and very functional adapter. The VND filter apparently has better performance than the one in the Canon ef-rf filter adapter. And you can get a ton of third party options for more drop in filters!

What is the diference in between this model and the Meike MK-EFTR-C ? What are those 3 little black wings screwed on the side good for? Thank you
Asked by: Fernando
Both the Meike Drop-In Filter Lens Adapter for EF/EF-S Lenses to Canon R-Mount Cameras and the Meike Drop-In Filter Mount Adapter EF to EOS-R with Variable ND Filter, BH # MEMKEFTRC • MFR #MK-EFTR-C, are the same adapter. One comes with a UV drop-in filter and a variable ND drop-in filter, and the MK-EFTR-C comes with a drop-in variable ND filter (ND3-ND500) and a clear filter. The three small black wings on the side are removable support brackets that help stabilize heavier EF lenses on the RF mount.
