Great camera when it works

I’m a huge fan of Ubiquiti products as well as B&H but my experience with this camera was a disappointment. This was the second AI Pro that I adopted into my home residential surveillance system. Sadly, after a couple of months in service it got to where it failed to automatically switch from nighttime IR mode during the daytime hours so I just wanted to return it and swap it for another identical AI Pro. I initially reached out to B&H and they directed me to the manufacturer (Ubiquiti) who then directed me back to B& H for the RMA-very frustrating. B&H then very quickly processed the RMA and issued me an e-gift card for the full purchase price. The problem now is that the black AI Pro cams are back ordered and I’m unable to use the e-gift card anywhere else. I just want a replacement camera that works correctly. I planned for at least 3-4 more of these but this experience has me second guessing that plan.

The picture and audio quality are great. License Plate recognition works phenomenally in our parking lot during the day; however, as expected, night time license plate recognition only works if the vehicle is moving about 5 MPH or less.
