Sony mocopi 3D Mobile Motion Capture Reviews
These trackers are unusable
I spent an hour getting them updated and connected. On a couple occasions they disconnected immediately after doing the calibration. On the one occasion when they did stay connected for a little while, the tracking wasn't very good.
It's lightweight, fun, but also complicated >.<
[Disclosure – Received a mocopi unit for free] It's really fun to use for some quick full-body tracking in VRChat! Once they're setup on your phone and connected to VRChat, it's really easy to calibrate and move around. A perk is that they are so small and lightweight that I don't notice my arms or legs getting tired from hours of use! The cons of the product is that it took me a lot of help and a lot of hours to figure out how to connect to my PC since the app that goes along with the trackers wasn't as intuitive as I had thought it would be. Another issue I encountered is that I had to recalibrate the trackers every 15 minutes in VRChat. The more movement, the more frequent you will have to calibrate them. That being said, I do recommend this product for anyone that wants full-body tracking, plans to use it for long periods at a time, but isn't looking to have the most accurate tracking. While complicated for me to set up, it was incredibly fun!!
