    Ubiquiti U7 Pro Reviews

    Fantastic customization and visibiliity

I finally gave in and jumped into the Ubiquiti community with the purchase of a Cloud Gateway Fiber after AT&T performed another update that wiped away settings on the router/ONT that they provide and messing up my customized network settings. I was so impressed with the ease-of-use to get up and running and bypassing the AT&T hardware entirely (thanks to 8311 firmware and WAS-110 SFP+ module) that I had to try out their WiFi equipment. I initially used my ASUS ZenWiFi, but everything registered as wired connections through that and I also had to routinely reboot those mesh access points. I plugged in the U7 Wall Pro, clicked Adopt in the UniFi app, and then immediately started broadcasting the same names with the same WiFi password and now have access to rock solid WiFi. I also purchased a U7 Pro to mount to the ceiling on my 2nd floor and together I have better coverage than I did before. Configuring and customizing the settings as well as viewing and controlling the connections is extremely easy. I never knew I could be so happy with networking equipment.

    Best AP ive ever owned!

This access point is hands down the best I've ever had. Blazing fast with tons of low level configuration options. Note that you will need to setup a unifi server to configure this. It can be setup in a VM or docker or installed into windows for free. And it doesn't have to stay up 24/7 so it's not hard just something to keep in mind.

How many radios are in this AP? to get the maximum throughput I would assume 3 radios as they would operate simultaneously.
    Asked by: Harold
The Ubiquiti Networks UniFi U7 Pro Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Access Point uses a single tri-radio that allows all three bands to operate simultaneously for connection to 300+ devices. Please see the build features listed by Ubiquiti here: https://bhpho.to/3Mfk9Qf

can i use ac-pro ceiling mount for mounting u7 pro max?
    Asked by: LINH
I just replaced an AC Pro with a U7 Pro. The AC Pro mount does not fit the U7 Pro. The good news is that the ‘A’ screw holes in the U7 mount plate is the same position as the screw holes in the AC Pro. You will not have to drill new holes to change out the mount plate.

    Asked by: Eric
The Ubiquiti UniFi U7 Pro Wall Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Access Point, B&H # UBU7PROWALL, does not have a "bridge mode" built in. It does have wireless uplink (mesh) capabilities to connect with compatible UniFi access points wirelessly.
