Gaming enthusiasts can easily immerse themselves into their favorite games with the MSI MPG 491CQP 49" 1440p 144 Hz Curved QD-OLED Ultrawide Gaming Monitor. Sporting a QD-OLED panel with a large viewing area, the MPG gives users a clear and smooth picture.

The 49" 32:9 QD-OLED panel features a DQHD 5120 x 1440 resolution with 144 Hz refresh rate, enhancing visual fidelity backed by 0.3 ms Gray-to-Gray (GtG) response time and Adaptive Sync technology. Support for 1.07 billion colors, 250 nits brightness, and 1,500,000:1 contrast ratio work together to provide vivid colorization and balance to make each scene pop. With one DisplayPort and two HDMI ports, you can connect your host PC as well as other consoles and media players. A single USB-C input supports laptops and provides 90W Power Delivery to keep your device powered while in use while the USB-A ports allow you to swap from your main PC to the laptop with ease. You also get a 3.5mm audio jack for private media listening. The MPG includes a 3-year OLED warranty which includes coverage in the instance of burn-in.

OLED Care 2.0
The MPG utilizes a graphite film with custom heatsink to reduce heat. Boundary detection adjusts luminance between image and background. Taskbar Detection and Multi-Logo Detection both work together to reduces the glow of fixed on-screen visuals to reduce potential burn in.
Gaming Intelligence APP
Easily access monitor settings and make adjustments via MSI's Gaming Intelligence APP. You can use your mouse, keyboard, and hotkey options to swap settings between different games.
Game Assistance
The MPG gives you several in-game enhancements designed to enhance your skills. A Smart Cross Hair provides you with a smart aim dot that changes color if it overlaps with the background color. Optix Scope zooms in for better target acquisition. AI Vision lightens up darkened areas without oversaturating the display, bringing out any hidden details.
Console Mode
An integrated Console Mode supports various video game devices to ensure optimal performance. ALLM automatically sets the ideal latency for smooth, lag-free viewing with support for up to 120 Hz refresh rates. HDMI CEC function allows you to use your controller to automatically start up the display.
PiP/PBP Function
Leverage the large screen and multiple devices with Picture-in-Picture and Picture-By-Picture modes. Easily post one input on top of another with Picture-in-Picture mode while Picture-By-Picture mode splits the display in various formats for enhanced multitasking capabilities.

Perfect for work and play

I mainly got this for gaming, but I didn't realize how great this would be for work. I'm able to keep 3 windows open at once, and being able to power my laptop and carry a video signal through one usb C cable is so convenient. The added KVM is also great. I have a USB switch connected to the monitor's usb port since I have more than one USB device I need on the KVM. Make sure to update the firmware to mitigate the annoying panel refresh cycles this monitor does daily. All you need to do is connect the monitor to your PC with the included USB cable and install the "Gaming Intelligence" app from their website.

I use this for gaming and for work. The single panel is amazing for workflows and when the full resolution is supported the gaming is amazing especially around Horizon and shooters like Hunt
