The pair of bookshelf speakers are versatile, offering four different input types that cover a wide array of home audio devices, making them an ideal soundbar alternative. HDMI ARC or optical audio inputs can be used for TV or gaming, USB Type-B offers PC and DJ compatibility, and RCA lets you connect a turntable or other component. Wireless playback via Bluetooth with aptX is also featured for CD-quality music from a mobile device. Left/Right Channel Switch
The back panel of the Debut ConnecX's active speaker is packed with connection options, and a convenient left/right switch. The switch lets you select whether the speaker will be your left or right channel. As the active speaker is where you plug in the power cord, this allows the Debut ConnecX to live in almost any location in your home.
Turntable Friendly
In addition to the RCA input for a turntable or other compatible device, the active speaker offers a selectable built-in phono preamp and ground screw. So, you can connect any turntable to the RCA inputs, choosing to having the ConneX or the record player handle the preamp duties.
