Godox ML-GB Reviews
Great Adapter for both the AD400 Pro II and AD300 Pro II
This is the perfect adapter that fits the native (smaller) "Bowens-like" mount of the AD300 Pro II and AD400 Pro II to allow the use softboxes with a traditional Bowens mount.
Godox Bowens Adapter
There’s no getting around the fact that the vast majority of modifiers in use are Bowens mounts. I used to use S2 brackets with some of the smaller lights and I still do. But this Godox Bowens adapter is becoming one of my favorites when I have to shoot on location. It does have its limits. Using the Godox AD300 with this adapter is great, but thought has to be used as to the size and weight of the modifier. I’ve modified the stock AD300 light stand bracket with different rubber washers and a metal handle to be able to adequately tighten it to keep it from slipping. And sometimes needing to reverse the bracket so the weight helps to tighten. But anything over 30” or so is my personal limit with this adapter coupled with the AD300. It’s inexpensive and easier to travel with than the S2.
