The system is powered by a 3.3 GHz AMD Ryzen 7 PRO 8840 8-Core processor and 32GB of 5600 MHz DDR5 memory, which comes in a 2 x 16GB configuration and may be upgraded to 64GB using its two 262-pin SO-DIMM slots.

Its 16" IPS anti-glare display features a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 native resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a 1500:1 contrast ratio, a brightness of 800 nits, viewing angles of 178°, coverage for 100% of the sRGB color gamut, and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Integrated AMD Radeon 780M Graphics delivers a sharp, clear picture, and you'll be able to output video to an external display using the HDMI 2.1 output, as well as Thunderbolt 4, which supports DisplayPort 1.4. The display also features an integrated HP Sure View panel, which makes the display appear unreadable when viewed from the side

For storage of your files, a 512GB PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 SSD offers quick access to your data. If you want to add external storage drives or other peripherals, the EliteBook 865 G11 features two 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 4 ports, plus two 5 Gb/s USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports. Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) is also built-in for wireless networking and Bluetooth 5.3 technology will allow you to connect additional compatible peripherals. Other features include an auto-tracking 5MP IR webcam for facial authentication with Windows Hello, dual mics, and dual 1W stereo speakers.

HP's 16" EliteBook 865 G11 Notebook includes a 100W USB-C power adapter and a 3.3' power cord. It can also be powered using the integrated Long Life 6-cell / 76Wh lithium-ion polymer battery that lasts for up to 20.25 hours and can be recharged up to 50% in 30 minutes when the system is powered off or in standby mode. The installed operating system is Windows 11 Pro (64-bit).
