The Leofoto CF-05 Lens Foot works as an improved replacement for select Canon lens collar feet for a lower profile and improved balance. This is a meticulously engineered aluminum support with built-in Arca-type dovetail mounts featuring 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 receivers, as well as a QD socket for quickly attaching a compatible strap or sling. A silicone pad creates an ergonomic grip for added comfort. Two safety stops on the bottom of the foot prevent lens release. The extended length of this foot is ideal for longer lenses.

I ordered this for the Canon RF 100-300mm f/2.8 IS L USM lens because I wanted a real ARCA foot to use with my monopod. I had another 3rd party foot on it that fit, but was a tad off (1/16 too forward). Anyway, this foot's fit was perfect. It lined up perfectly with the lens, being neither too big nor too small. It makes the lens sit higher like the OEM foot, but it is easier to handle handheld with the clearance from this foot. Lastly, it will still fit in the OEM lens case, so that is good news, as well.

Will you be able to put the lens hood of the RF 600mm f4L in reverse using this lens foot?

Yes, the Leofoto CF-05 Lens Foot will still allow you to mount the Canon RF 600mm lens hood in reverse.
