Razer Barracuda X Overview

With a lightweight, foam-padded design and a long-lasting battery, the black Razer Barracuda X Wireless Gaming Headset helps to keep you comfortable during long gaming sessions. Featuring 40mm Razer TriForce drivers, this headset delivers rich, clear audio. Detaching the cardioid boom mic allows you to use the Barracuda X into a Bluetooth headset on commutes and everyday tasks.

The included USB-C HyperSpeed wireless receiver provides low-latency connections to compatible computers. You can simultaneously pair the headset with a mobile device via Bluetooth and switch between them on-the-fly, allowing you to take calls and return to your game without missing a beat. Or use the 3.5mm cable to connect directly to compatible devices. Use the on headphone controls to go through your playlist, take calls, and switch between connected devices with just a few taps.

Razer SmartSwitch Dual Wireless
Capable of connecting to the 2.4 GHz HyperSpeed receiver and Bluetooth device at once, SmartSwitch enables seamless shifting between both. Calls from a connected Bluetooth device will automatically come through, so you can conveniently take the call then switch back to the game audio without ever removing the headset.

On-Headset Controls
A single press on the headset's earcup button controls music playback and calls. Double pressing it skips to the next track. Triple presses toggle between the Razer HyperSpeed Wireless and Bluetooth connections.

The internal battery provides up to 50 hours, depending on use, before needed to be recharged through the USB-C port.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging was amazing and beautiful.The instructions are clear and concise. Overall headphones fit and wear beautifully. The Razer Barracuda X has a unique version of connectivity. It does not use Bluetooth. It uses a USB C dongle that instantly connects. I can switch that between my Galaxy, my PS4, my switch and my PC - just by moving the dongle to the new device. (On the PC I also have to change the sound output in settings). If I want to use it on my iPod I Can use the 3.5mm analog cable in wired mode. The headphones controls are easy to understand and use- for volume and answering calls. The surround sound is excellent, allowing me to get more kills in FPS matches I use my headphones for music listening as well, and enjoy marathon Spotify sessions with excellent clarity and dynamic sound response. The Bass is clear and the highs are solid. The mic is awesome. It only picks me up, which is great. My little sister is always busting in my room trying to say hello to my team or crack a joke about me getting sniped - They cant hear it. They can hear me however- and that makes for better matches and more wins.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I always love Razer products so it’s no surprise how much I like these! Everything you need is in the box! Charger, mic, Bluetooth adapter and usb-c adapter, so no need to worry if they will connect to your device! This completely eliminates the issue of having to go back to the store to make your product work which is super annoying. I’m really happy with the sound quality of these headphones as well. The lay nice and flat like, which I think is a great design feature. Additionally, they are metal inside, (I included a pic) so these are very sturdy, and built to last, so you likely won’t need new headphones for a long time! These deserve 10 stars! I noticed their was a review left saying that you can’t see which side the mic works on, but you can! It’s labeled on the mic with a little symbol!
