Housed inside a slim silver-colored metal frame is a curved dual QHD, 5120 x 1440 resolution (110 PPI) QD-OLED screen that envelopes your view with rich visuals while delivering smooth visuals. Encompassing Visuals
Featuring a 1800R curved design, 178° viewing angles, and 31:9 aspect ratio, the Odyssey allows you to see more at a glance. The Quantum Dot OLED panel delivers stunning images with a 1 million:1 static contrast ratio and 250 nit brightness by individually illuminating each pixel. High-dynamic range brings photos, videos, and games to life with vibrant color, bright highlights, and deep shadows. The Dynamic Black Equalizer feature analyzes the background of games and automatically adjusts the sharpness, saturation, and black details to provide you with more visibility in darkened areas.

With its 240 Hz refresh rate and 0.03 ms GtG response time, this 49" display provides liquid smooth graphics with competitive first-person shooters, racing sims, and other fast-paced games. At the same time, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology and NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility reduces screen tearing and stuttering with compatible graphics cards.

Use the Game Bar to quickly change your settings. You can modify the screen ratio, zoom in on the mini map, and change the picture mode to optimize specific game genres having to leave your game screen.
Expansive Entertainment
You don't necessarily need to have a computer or console system connected or turned on to entertain yourself. Built-in Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) support allows you to connect to compatible networks while the Gaming Hub allows you to access services such as Xbox Games Pass and NVIDIA GeForce NOW, where you can play games streamed from the cloud without having to download them.

You can pair the monitor with separately purchased Bluetooth controllers. Or you can use the 2-port USB-C hub to connect peripherals to compatible devices through the monitor.

Smart TV functionality lets you stream shows and movies from services such as Netflix, Prime Video, and YouTube while Samsung TV Plus offers free live content without subscriptions or sign-ups. You can sit back with the included remote control to enjoy relaxed viewing. An integrated 10W stereo speaker system provides booming audio.
Rich Connectivity
Connect your device to the Odyssey QD-OLED G9 through the HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort, and micro-HDMI ports. The Auto Source Switch+ feature detects when devices are turned on and changes to the new source signal.
Enhance your experience with rear-facing ambient Core Lighting+ RGB effects. CoreSync technology projects your game's onscreen colors into the real world for deeper immersion.

Samsung G935SD Reviews

Strong first impressions undone

I was excited to receive this monitor, and at first I was genuinely impressed by the picture quality and sound. Unfortunately, several recurring issues quickly began affecting daily productivity and overall usability. Some may have been defects, while others appeared to be design flaws. The monitor emitted intermittent popping sounds whenever either connected PC woke from sleep, and at random points throughout the day. Despite extensive troubleshooting, the picture on both connected PCs (each brand‑new with high‑end processors and graphics cards) would occasionally become slightly pixelated before returning to normal. On two occasions, audio stopped working entirely on both PCs even though the monitor was selected as the output device. Restoring sound required adjusting multi‑view and other settings. The on‑screen menu plays navigation sounds that cannot be disabled without muting the entire monitor, which is disruptive in a shared workspace or while the rest of the household is sleeping. The built‑in TV software adds noticeable bloat, making menu navigation slow and cumbersome during troubleshooting. Additionally, when one of the connected PCs was idle but not in sleep mode, the monitor displayed a distracting screen instead of simply going black. I was disappointed to have to return the monitor and ended up paying a 20% restocking fee. Based on this experience, I’m not sure I would consider purchasing another Samsung device.

Love the 49" but Too Much Emphasis on the Smart Apps, Doesn't Detect Inputs

[This review was NOT collected as part of a promotion] The expansive size and curve is great, I like the new features of Windows Fancy Zones, really makes the space useful for multiple windows. But the monitor doesn't detect when a computer is turned on and automatically turn on or switch inputs. You have to use the remote control every time and navigate past all the smart TV apps to select the connections menu, then once in the sub menu, you click over to the correct input and press enter. Why make me use the remote every time I need to wake up the monitor with a different input source? At least if I have to use the remote, take one of the four useless steaming services buttons and make one an input select shortcut. I'll never use the four streaming service shortcut buttons on the remote, so take the space in add an input button. Or the Microphone button, who's going to use that? I think I can use the joystick on the back of the monitor, and the side buttons feel ok, but the center press button doesn't have a good click to it, like the button is weak and lacks tactile feedback and when I press it, it seems to wiggle sideways instead of pressing straight down. Other brands' joystick buttons that have a better feel. I was surprised with the quality sound of the speakers. It isn't the Samsung Soundbar like I have on the TV or full of solid bass like the KlipschTHX dedicated computer speaker set, but the surround effect is very startling. I was looking behind me for background sounds in shows or movies. I'm debating on leaving the speaker set off the desk to reduce clutter and just going with the monitor speakers - only if there was a way to connect a subwoofer without the bookshelf right and left speaker but it's all part of the kit. The blacks are awesome, but the colors are over saturated, I still need to check if the spyder calibrator will take care of the colors. I love my OLED TV, I hope I made the right choice in spending the extra money for having an OLED monitor also.
