Pretty cool novelty lens

Neat little special effect lens. I like the modularity in how you achieve the light leak. The image/build quality isn't amazing, but for the price point, I have no complaints about it. I do wish there was a way to get a different color light leak other than this very purple/pink one. I imagine that's achievable through gels or filters. Still very cool and fun nonetheless.

A little too disposable

In Polar Pro's marketing of this lens they state that it focuses from roughly three feet to infinity, at the center of the lens, giving you the dreamy nostalgic disposable camera look. This lens does many things well but focusing on infinity is not one of them. The lens overall is well built for the price range. I found the plastic light leak ring a little difficult to adjust, but due to it being fairly thin plastic I would expect it to loosen over time (if not break and fall off). The effect of the light leak is gimmicky and interesting to work with. The focus between three and ten feet is acceptable and it certainly delivers a lot of interesting character. My main sticking point comes back to the zone of focus not extending to infinity. Even the venerable Holga had a limited ability to change the zone of focus. Considering the quality that Polar Pro is known for, the ability to change the zone of focus on this lens would really make it a versatile artistic lens, instead of a disposable one.
