How do you actually attach the receiver to a smart phone? It comes with USB-C adapter, does that mean lightening by default?
To attach the DJI Mic Mini receiver to a smartphone, you can use the USB-C adapter that comes with the system. The connection to the adapter is proprietary. There is an optional Lightning adapter that can be ordered from our site: https://tinyurl.com/4sz4k3dc

Can this pair with a JBL partybox on-the-go portable speaker?
The DJI Mic Mini Compact Wireless Microphone System for Camera & Smartphone (2.4 GHz) works great for recording, but due to the system's inherent latency, I would not recommend it for amplifying a live voice through a loudspeaker.
For live amplification through the PartyBox Go speaker, this 2-pack # JBLPBWLMIC will likely be a better option.
