Great Feature Set and speed for the $$$

Wanted to replace a JBOD OpenMediaVault system running snapraid with something a bit more polished. Put 3 18 TB drives in to create a RAID5 group and was very concerned when after 2 1/2 days it was still building. But after it was finished created NFS shares and copied all the data over easily. Only complaint at the time was there was no obvious way to just copy the data locally - so was limited to a GB network. Now that it's been seeded, it's working GREAT. Love the ability to share files with family and friends for limited time.

No RSync support.

This is not quite ready for prime time. I'm hoping Ubiquiti will continue to improve the software for this.

The fans on the Ubiquiti Networks UNAS Pro 7-Bay NAS Enclosure, BH #UBUNASPROUS, blow outwards in the back, taking air in through the slits in the front.

What is the storage capacity maximum?

At the time of this message, the Ubiquiti Networks UNAS Pro 7-Bay NAS Enclosure, B&H # UBUNASPROUS, has been tested with drives of up to 24TB in capacity; in RAID 0, it would give you a maximum capacity of 168TB. While it is possible that it might support larger capacity 3.5'' SATA drives, it has not been tested, so we could not guarantee it.
