I purchased this Lenovo Legion 5i for a college student who needed a strong laptop for architecture-related coursework. So far, it feels like a great choice. The laptop is fast, the display looks good, and the build feels solid. It has enough power for school, design programs, multitasking, and everyday use without feeling like it will struggle. It is definitely more of a performance laptop than a lightweight everyday laptop, so it has some size and weight to it, but that was expected. Overall, I’m happy with the purchase and would recommend it for students or anyone needing a capable laptop for school, creative work, or gaming.

Does the display on this laptop have pulse width modulation flicker?

OLED displays, like the one on the Lenovo 15.1" Legion 5i Gaming Laptop, are not going to be susceptible to PWM flicker specifically since OLED displays do not feature a backlight. That being said, they would not be considered as "flicker-free" as there is still a slight dip in brightness that corresponds with the refresh rate. This dip in brightness, however, will still be less than what occurs with PWM flicker.
