Really Holds Your Expensive Cell Phone Securely!!
I bought this holder for my trip to Grand Teton National Park this past January (2026). I needed something to hold my $1400 Samsung cellphone on my tripod for selfies. This device performed like a champ as it allowed me to take some awesome selfies of me & my wife standing in the middle of frozen Jackson lake for our kids & grandkids. One thing to note is that if you have a large phone like my Samsung Ultra, and you also have a fairly aggressive protective shell like I do, it will take some extra effort to slide it into this holder. But for me, that just makes it more secure!
Rock Solid
3 Legged Thing is a new discovery for me as a photographer, but I wish I'd found them sooner. They take what they do very seriously and they're dedicated to their craft. Even a simple phone mount gets their over-engineered treatment, and it's awesome for it. It's secure, it's versatile, and it's built like a tank. It's not at all flimsy and it works great with my Moment case. Now I just wish they'd make one of those grip cages.
