ASUS NUC 15 Pro+ Overview

With its compact size, the ASUS NUC 15 Pro+ Desktop Computer delivers powerful performance without taking up too much space, making it ideal for the home office or the workplace. The system is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor with integrated Intel Arc Graphics, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and 1TB of SSD storage. The processor also has a built-in Intel AI Boost NPU, which helps accelerate AI workflows, allowing you to take full advantage of Microsoft Copilot in Windows 11.

For connectivity, you can go wireless with Wi-Fi 7 or wired with 2.5 GbE Ethernet LAN. Dual Thunderbolt 4 ports are located in the back, and provide fast transfer rates, allowing you to move large files, such as photos, videos, and more. Additional ports include USB-C and USB-A ports. With dual HDMI 2.1 ports and the dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, this system supports up to four 4K displays, providing seamless multitasking.

Thunderbolt 4
Thunderbolt 4 is a hardware interface that utilizes the reversible USB-C connector and features a maximum throughput of 40 Gb/s when used with compatible devices. The connector also transmits data via USB4 at up to 20 Gb/s, and dual-bandwidth DisplayPort allows you to connect either one 8K monitor or up to two 4K displays simultaneously. Additionally, you can daisy chain up to six devices from a single Thunderbolt 4 port.

Windows 11 Home
Microsoft simplified the design and user experience with Windows 11. It has a modern, clean design with a new Start Menu position. Snap Layouts, Groups, and Desktops allow you to multitask with ease. Microsoft has also integrated some of their apps, such as Microsoft Teams. The redesigned Microsoft Store makes it easier to look for supported apps.

)I purchased the Ultra 9 (series 2) processor barebone system and added my own memory and SSD. I've had a few hiccups along the way, but they were primary due to Windows 11 pro OS and not due to the hardware. Unit can get loud (fan noise) if used in 'max performance' mode, but the unit remains comfortable to the touch. Thermal dissipation is excellent and doesn't skimp on copper heat pipes. Final build configuration tested is 96 GB DDR5 SO-DIMM RAM (Crucial) and 4TB SSD Gen5x4 (9100 Samsung)

Does the NUC 15 Pro support a secondary 2.5 SSD Drive. If not what model does? also need 4 monitor support . Thanks

The ASUS NUC 15 Pro+ Barebone Kit, B&H # ASRNUC15CR9U, does not support a secondary 2.5'' SATA SSD; however, you can install a second SSD on the available M.2 Slot 2242. Asus does not currently offer a model of the NUC that supports a 2.5'' SSD.
