The CME H4MIDI WC is a versatile USB dual-role MIDI interface designed for both wired and wireless workflows. It operates as a standalone USB host, allowing plug-and-play connection of USB MIDI clients and devices with seamless bidirectional MIDI transmission. At the same time, it functions as a USB client MIDI interface for Mac, Windows, iOS (via Apple USB Camera Connection Kit), and Android (via USB OTG cable), making it a powerful hub for musicians across platforms.
Equipped with a USB-A host port that supports up to 8-in / 8-out connections via an optional hub, a USB-C client port, and two standard 5-pin MIDI IN and out ports, the H4MIDI WC offers flexible connectivity. It also features an expansion slot for the WIDI Core module (available separately), enabling bidirectional Bluetooth MIDI for wireless freedom. With support for up to 128 MIDI channels, the interface handles complex MIDI setups with ease.
Bundled with the free HxMIDI Tools software for macOS/Windows and iOS/Android, the H4MIDI WC offers advanced control over firmware updates, MIDI merging, splitting, routing, mapping, and filtering. All configurations are saved directly on the interface, allowing for full standalone operation. For portability, the unit can be powered via standard USB power or a 9 VDC adapter (available separately).
