The TVS-H1277AX 12-Bay NAS Enclosure from QNAP combines ZFS data integrity with Qtier storage tiering technology, redefining performance standards for professional video collaboration and enterprise virtualization. Its 8 x 3.5"/2.5" SATA III drive bays and four 2.5" U.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x4 bays handle massive storage volumes and ultra-fast data access, while a 3.8 GHz AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 7645 6-Core processor with Zen 4 architecture, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and the ZFS file system handles heavy workloads, including multiple virtual machines (VMs), containers, and high-resolution video transcoding.
The TVS-h1277AX has two 10GbE ports and two 2.5GbE ports for fast data connections. Peripherals and external storage drives may be added using two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports, two USB-A 2.0 ports, and one HDMI 1.4b port that supports resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 30 Hz. Expansions, including 10/25GbE network cards, QM2 cards, SAS/PCIe/SATA storage cards, graphics cards, and more may be added using one PCIe 4.0 x8 and two PCIe 4.0 x4 slots. Also supported are RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60, Triple Mirror, Triple Parity, and JBOD, read speeds of up to 12,172 MB/s and write speeds of up to 11,106 MB/s via 5 x 25GbE and U.2 NVMe SSDs, AES-NI volume encryption, and more. Available operating systems include QTS or QuTS hero.
