The ACP-DANTE-E-POE 2-Channel Analog Audio Input Dante Encoder from AudioControl is a compact, 100% lossless, Dante network audio encoder for Dante or AES67 audio streams. Analog waveforms are encoded to digital audio with industry-standard sampling rates from 44.1 kHz to as high as 96 kHz in 16-, 24-, or 32-bit word lengths.
PoE capability and a compact form factor enable the ACP-DANTE-E-POE to be powered remotely for strategic placement near endpoint components, providing a transfer distance of up to 328 feet with correctly implemented Cat 5e or 6A infrastructure; audio input is delivered via stereo RCA or TOSLINK digital. Dante Controller, a free downloadable app from Audinate, is required to perform initial setup, adjust parameters, adjust Dante stream subscriptions, control network settings, and make AES67 audio support adjustments. When powered and connected to a Dante network, the unit is auto discovered for easy identification and can be set and forgotten for permanent installations.
