FUJIFILM Acros 100 reviews

Neopan 100 Acros Black and White Negative Film (35mm Roll Film, 36 Exposures) is rated 4.9 out of 5 by 67.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Produces the most gratifying images There's something magical about this film, which cannot really be explained, but every image, even of the most mundane subject, becomes a rich and gratifying image, with deep blacks, smoothness second only to butter, beautiful rendering of skin tones, and minimal grain - even when present, the Arcos grain is beautiful and enhancing. I really really hope that Fujifilm is planning to eliminate this classic, the way it has on so many films over the last years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Glowing Midtones Excellent film for fine art black and white. Mostly I shoot this film in 8x10 and 4x5 formats, but dabble with a little 120 and 35mm. This film yeilds gorgeous midtones that simply glow. A look unlike any other film. It does not respond as well to plus development as other films such as Delta, FP4 or Tri-x.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my current favorite this is what i'm shooting almost exclusively these days...beautiful detail, old fashioned, a great replacement for agfapan. it scans wonderfully too. i've heard people rate it all over the map, for me its a fast 80, or a slow 100. the negs do tend to be delicate, and out of date its sludgy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely the best!!! Absolutely the best film on the market. I have used and made control tests and development with several films, including TMAX 100. Fuji translates more details and has life in the images. Now, I am working only with Fuji 100 and 400 films.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great film I tried this film out for the first time and i have to say i really enjoy using it, ive used about 7 so far. Once i found out how to properly develop it the photos were very fine grained and had really nice tones. i shoot a lot of environmental type portraits and it gives me really good results. Will order again when i run out

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best choice for long exposure This film is fantastic. The grain is very fine, and the film has exceptional reciprocity characteristics. It is almost always my choice for exposures longer than 10 seconds, and I've used it for exposures in excess of 15 minutes with good, predictable, accurate results.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great black and white film I used this product recently for the very first time. Everything is so clear, smooth, and sharp. The quality that Fuji puts into this film is amazing. There's such a depth to the prints from this film that they bring back the days of some of the classic black and white photographers. It would be best to develop it in Rodinal or a similar developer, as that makes it really shine.
