SG-1 Windscreen is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from High quality and fits A windscreen is essential to suppress wind and other noises. Although this one is not exactly cheap, it is made of high-quality and dense foam. Fits my Sennheiser 416 perfectly. Highly recommended!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Sound Dampener This microphone has been the best purchase ever! I had a Rode NKG-2 and after a year and a hlaf the XLR connector begaun to pull out of the bottom. Then on it's final shoot upon disconnecting it, the wires pulled from the mic...and it ahsn't worked since. With this one having a seperate module for the battery I don't foresee this happening. not to mention the different sounds I am able to pick up on, and the extremely good clarity it provides. The Rode couldn't come close.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Does the job! The windscreen fits my Sennheiser ME66 microphone perfectly and does what it is supposed to do. The only reason I have docked it a star is that it was incredibly difficult to get on the microphone (yes, it is true that most windscreens are difficult to maneuver onto the microphone, but this one was particularly problematic). However, in the end I got everything fitted properly and it is up and running just fine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for Indoor Video The SG-1 Windscreen was a great choice. At first it was dificult to insert in the mic but after using a few times inserting it that process became realy easy to be done. After a while I was willing to use outdoor. It was good for the joob bt to make it better I started working with the WindTech MM-101 Mic-Muf Windscreen. Good Luck...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Does some good Its a fine sponge windscreen. I bought it reccomended with a SGM-X - Supercardioid Shotgun Condenser Microphone from Azden. But its too long, does not fit properly. And that was the big let down. It does some good. But it does nothing compared to the Dead cats on a cradle thingys.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Generic, Functional, Overpriced The windscreen snugly fits on my Sony shotgun mic, covering all the right holes while leaving access to the battery compartment. The only complaint is that the manufacturer/supplier charges way too much for a piece of foam so BH Photo has to pass that along.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fine stock replacement We used this SG-1 to replace a decaying stock Sennheiser ME-80 foam windscreen. It needed to be low-profile (as opposed to a dead rabbit) for on-camera work. It does that just fine. A little snug, but better too light than too loose.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SG-1 Windscreen by WINDTECH I would recommend this windscreen, as it is of high quality and works well with my Sennheriser 416 or my Neuman KM81i. The price is right and I don't see any difference beside the color, between it and the OEM.
