This held my package of a medium format camera, medium sized lens, 1.6lb ball head, and strobe radio trigger just fine, on a light stand, held in place horizontally over the subject (product shots). Since it has the standard stub, I look forward to using it on still life and outdoor flower shots with a Super Clamp.

Excellent Quality, holds like an Ohio State lineman!

This is yet another excellent quality product designed well and crafted with precision and quality in mind. I use this for sporting events in conjunction with their clamping mechanism and it is fantastic. No movement is noticed and pictures come out as if I were using a $400 tripod. This brings a level of flexibility to many otherwise difficult photography situation. Highly recommended!
