Very strong. Use it to support a 17 monitor on set and on location. Mounted it to a cart, and it works great. Highly recommend.

These are well manufactured and finished in bright chrome. I purchased 3 of these to make my own ceiling trolley lights. The center holes line up perfectly with the mounts on Unistrut trolleys for the do-it-yourselfer. Place these mounts and the Unistrut trolleys in the Unistrut track and you have rolling lights that look great.

How do I connect these baby plates to the unistrut trolleys and track channel system?
It would take some modification, there is no standard set-up for this.

question
How much is the load capacity?
We use this particular 12 Baby plate for our Arri 300 & 150 fresnel lights without any problem. The weight on the 300 is approx. 4 lbs. and it seems to work fine!We have the smaller plate and it works well also on heavier softbox lights because of the low height. I think if using longer screws to a applebox-type of base with a possible weight bag, you should have no problem.
