The Everfocus EZ180 Series of security cameras offer high resolution with low light capability. This model offers an all-weather, dust-proof housing and a zoom lens built-in for detailed black and white images. It comes with a varifocal 3.5 mm to 8 mm lens.
Designed for Outdoor and All Weather Installs
The EZ180 is designed for outdoor security applications, especially where low levels of lighting are available. The aluminum housing incorporates an overhanging sunshade. The shade is removable.
A heating element keeps the camera operational in temperatures down to -45°C or about 51° below zero Fahrenheit. The heating element turns on automatically at a specified temperature. It is rated at international protection standards to IP66 which lists total emersion, strong water jets and dust-proof as qualities of this camera housing.
Low Light No Problem
The camera has a very high quality vari-focal lens with a maximum aperture of f/1.6. With the sensitive CCD and a gain-up function the camera can capture images with only 0.06 Lux- almost complete darkness. Black and white cameras are, almost by definition, more sensitive than color models. This camera would be useful in areas like parking lots and gas stations where a clear, detailed image is the most important security factor.
