I purchased this set of ND gels to test their use outdoors and to select the right density for the application. The selected gel (0.3) has been in place for 2 weeks now and is as good as the day it was installed. These are good gels in terms of uniformity and durability. These filters were great for helping me lower the aperture setting on my camera when using my Elinchrom monolights in my small home studio. The only complaint I would have is that there's only one filter of each type. I assumed there would be at least two of each. Still, a great product and has been very helpful for me.

May I cut this to size and use in a filter tray in front of my lens?
The Norman Pack of 3 Assorted Neutral Density ND-10 Gel Filters (10") could physically be cut and put in front of a camera lens, but these sheets are designed to be put on lights. Using this product for unintended purposes may affect things like focus and is not recommended.
