The S2224 Sorber Sound Absorption Baffle from ClearSonic functions both as an absorber and redirector of acoustic energy. It is constructed from rigid fiberglass covered in dark gray, heavy-duty sound-absorbing fabric. Each panel measures 22 x 24 x 1.6" (W x L x D) and is well suited for use as an acoustic treatment for studio, stage, houses of worship, conference rooms, classrooms, and industrial settings.
At a Glance
- Proprietary 1.6” thick rigid fiberglass core provides superior sound absorption compared to acoustic foam and other fiberglass baffles. Use it to lay on top of an acrylic shield (LidPacs) or acoustically treat both walls and ceilings.
- Hook-and-loop fastener-receptive acoustic fabric jacket provides another layer of sound absorption and allows Sorber baffles to attach to acrylic material or other Sorber baffles with hook-and-loop fasteners.
- Dark gray fabric blends into almost any decor.
- Sewn seams allow the fabric jacket to fully covers the inner fiberglass. No glue is used and there is no exposed fiberglass.
- Great as acoustic treatment for studio, stage, house of worship, conference room, classroom, and industrial setting.
- Included four hook-and-loop fasteners
- 1.00 overall NRC rating
